Complete Coverage
Enviro Cover is a continuous film with extremely good tear and puncture resistance, high tensile strength and elongation properties, it wraps around and encloses the irregularities on an uneven working face. ‘Spray-on’ placement creates coverage ‘shadows’ due to the angle of the spray. Often, a second spray point location is required in order to eliminate these shadows. This results in additional material, time and cost.
Operating Costs
Daily cover costs are lower with the use of Enviro Cover System. Enviro Cover System does not require any pre or post application work such as mixing and cleaning. Less machinery, time and manpower is involved.
Application in Adverse Weathers
Enviro Cover can be applied in most adverse climatic conditions, including rain, snow and freezing temperatures. The use of foams or sprays in heavy rain, wind and snow may hamper the effectiveness of the cover. Foams and Spray-ons generally cannot be applied in heavy rains. At freezing temperatures, special ancillary equipment is often required to maintain the operation of the dispersing tools and to keep the spray-on and foam mix intact.
Leachate Generation
Enviro Cover is a continuous impermeable barrier to water infiltration. It excels in enhancing surface water runoff and reducing leachate generation within the landfill. On the contrary, rainwater can infiltrate through the spray-on and foam cover into the waste, resulting in undesired leachate generation.
