Enviro Cover is an impermeable and non-removable geosynthetic film. It provides a continuous barrier between the waste and the environment. It remains in place until the next day’s waste is deposited on top. It does not require removal, which could result in a sudden release of odor into the environment. This technology provides an effective control over odors and greenhouse gas emissions from the working face of a landfill.
Since the Enviro Cover film is mechanically destroyed by subsequent placement of waste, it will not impede the desired movement of gas inside the landfill for collection.
