Enviro Cover System is EPI’s proprietary technology, consisting of Enviro Cover film, Enviro Cover Deployer and the specialized deployment process.

The deployment process involves:

  1. A landfill site loads a roll of Enviro Cover and onsite ballast material onto Enviro Cover Deployer.
  2. The deployer driver positions the equipment at the area that needs cover, and begins the deployment.
  3. As the deployer moves, Enviro Cover film is unrolled from the deployer. At the same time, ballast material is discharged from the deployer at a controlled rate. The ballast securely anchors the film onto the working face.
  4. When the deployer deploys the next panel, it creates an overlap, which is then closed by the ballast deposited on it. As a result, the panels form a complete closure and impermeable barrier between the waste and the environment.
  5. The deployer driver repeats the procedure until the whole area is covered.
